WE DID IT!
What a beautiful way to end this 100 Days of Writing journey. We gathered, we wrote, we talked, we welcomed inquisitive cats and naughty toddlers. Our final Friday Writing Room is done, and it was pure joy. Thank you to everyone who joined, and everyone who got behind this challenge and showed up to your writing every day.
Thank you for your generosity 🙏
Thanks to your generous donations, so far we’ve raised £228 to support future readers with literacy and access to books via The Reading Agency. I’ve decided to keep the fundraiser open for this weekend, and I’d love to hit the £300 target, so if the Christmas spirit strikes, please donate here…
Join my community for more
If you’ve enjoyed this challenge, make sure you’re subscribed to The Inkwell, my primary newsletter and community, where we get together regularly. This is the best way to stay in touch with me and my work. I have lots of plans for 2025, including sharing some follow up articles from the 100 Days experience.

Some options for future support
Now 100 Days is over, I’d like to point you toward some other writing resources to support you in the weeks ahead.
The London Writers’ Salon: Daily Zoom writing sessions across all time zones, and much more. The leaders in online writing rooms and a great global community. Something for everyone here.
The Written Academy: Courses and writing sprints from writing coaches Bec Evans and Chris Smith. They have a January course coming up, plus regular 7-day writing sprints via their newsletter Breakthroughs and Blocks (which I highly recommend).
Beth Kempton’s Soul Circle & Winter Writing Sanctuary: Beth’s Substack community is a friendly and gentle space. Each year she hosts a winter writing sanctuary - perfect for those strange aimless days between Christmas and New Year.
Mason Curry’s Worm Zoom: Mason’s regular accountability space is for creatives of all stripes - two hours every weekday to work in community with people from all over the world.
The 100 Day Project: If you fancy another 100 day challenge, #The100DayProject is a free, global art project that takes place online. Every year, thousands of people all around the world commit to 100 days of creating. The next round of the project will start in early 2025.
The boring bit
As promised, all paid subscriptions are now paused. No more payments will be taken and you will all revert to a free subscription once your current paid period ends. I intend to leave the publication live for the time being, so you can access any posts and videos you want. You can also chose to cancel your subscription yourself if you wish.
That’s all folks!
Wishing you a restful winter and a creatively fulfilled 2025!
Thanks for organising the fundraiser Katherine - such a great idea. Donated! Though I am yet to finish my own #100daysofwriting - thought it was so neat to finish on New Year’s Eve - rather regretting that now 🙃
